1. What is GoGo?
GoGo is an on-demand minibus taxi service. It’s an e-hailing app for minibus taxis.
We help you get to your taxi routes, or anywhere you want to go.
Use the GoGo app to skip the walk and get to your destination safely.
GoGo offers two ride options.
#1 GoGo Share
GoGo Drivers can pick you up +/- 1km off their normal route. Once the GoGo Driver has collected you, you re-join the normal taxi route and drop off as normal.
You share their ride with your other passengers.
#2 GoGo Direct
Take an empty minibus taxi anywhere you want to go! It’s bigger and cheaper.
Request a GoGo Direct ride any time and select where the GoGo taxi driver picks you up and drops you off.
The taxi picking you up must be empty, it can ONLY pick you and your group up. You do not share a GoGo Direct ride with other taxi passengers
2. Signing Up
Downloading the GoGo Rider App
• Navigate to the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store
• Type “GoGo Rider“ into the search bar
• Tap the “Install” button
Create a GoGo account
Open the GoGo Rider App
You will be prompted to enter the following information
• Mobile number
You will then be sent a One Time Pin (OTP) to verify your mobile number.
If you do not see a One Time Pin in your SMS inbox, tap “Resend OTP” in the GoGo Rider App
After entering your OTP, you will then be prompted to enter the following i information
• First Name
• Last Name
• Email Address
• City
After accepting the Terms & Conditions you will be redirected to the Home Page of the GoGo Rider app.
Congratulations, you are now a GoGo Rider. Let’s GoGo!
3. Using the GoGo App
Request a GoGo Ride
After you have created an account, you will be notified of how many drivers are in your immediate area.
You will then be able to tap the “Lets GoGo” button to find a ride.
You will then be able to choose from two ride options
GoGo Share
GoGo Drivers can pick you up +/- 1km off their normal route. Once the GoGo Driver has collected you, you re-join the normal taxi route and drop off as normal.
You share their ride with your other passengers.
You will be prompted to enter the following information:
– Pick up from (address)
– Ride to (drop-off address)
Once you have confirmed your details, the following information will be displayed:
– Taxi Fare
– Estimated GoGo ride distance
– Estimated GoGo ride time
You can Accept the Ride or Cancel the ride request
Click “Yes, Let’s GoGo!”
Next you will see:
• Pick-up Address
• Minutes to pick-up
• Kilometres to pick-up
• Cost of ride
When a GoGo driver is found you will receive a notification: “GoGo Ride On The Way!”
Once you are picked up the Taxi will return to its Taxi route
You can get of anywhere along the route, or at the end point
Just like a normal taxi ride
GoGo Direct
GoGo Direct is like any other e-hailing app.
Hail a minibus taxi on your GoGo App and select where the Driver should pick you and your friends up and drop you off.
The taxis must be empty to pick you up, the entire taxi is just for you and your friends, you don’t share with other passengers
You will be prompted to enter the following information:
• Pick up from (address)
• Ride to (drop-off)
Once you have confirmed your details, the following information will be displayed:
• Cost
• Estimated GoGo ride distance
• Estimated GoGo ride time
You can Accept the Ride or Cancel the ride request
Click “Yes, Let’s GoGo!” to accept”
Next you will see:
• Pick-up Address
• Minutes to pick-up
• Kilometres to pick-up
• Cost of ride
When a GoGo driver is found you will receive a notification: “GoGo Ride On The Way!”
The Driver will collect you and will drop you off at your selected drop off point
Once the GoGo Ride is complete the GoGo Ride details are displayed
• The address
• GoGo Ride time
• GoGo Ride distance
• Taxi Fare
You can rate the GoGo Driver
Tap “Rate GoGo Driver “
You will be returned to the Home screen, ready to hail your next ride. Let’s GoGo!
4. Cost and Trip times
GoGo Ride times
Before your ride starts, the GoGo app will provide an estimated time of arrival (ETA) at your destination.
ETAs are estimates and are not guaranteed. External factors such as accidents, load shedding or traffic may cause unexpected delays
Price estimate for my GoGo Ride
• Tap the “Find A GoGo Ride” button.
• Choose GoGo Share or GoGo Direct option
• Enter pick-up address and drop-off location
• Once you have confirmed the details a cost estimate will be displayed
How are fares calculated?
GoGo Share:
You pay your normal taxi route fare plus an additional GoGo pick-up fee per GoGo Rider collected.
GoGo Direct:
The GoGo fare is calculated based on the distance and the time that the GoGo Ride takes. GoGo calculates the amount based on the quickest and most efficient route.
Total GoGo Direct Ride Fee = Base Fee + Distance Fee + Time Fee
Is GoGo available in my area?

Do I pay if I cancel a Ride?
No.
You are not charged for cancelling your GoGo Ride. However the GoGo Driver may down rate you and over time poor ratings may affect your GoGo Rider status. And you may struggle to get Drivers to accept your Ide requests
How do I Identify a GoGo Driver and GoGo Vehicle?
You will be able to match the GoGo Taxi licence plate to the information on the GoGo app.
GoGo Vehicles are branded with the GoGo brand colours.
5. FAQs
I can’t request a GoGo Ride?
Try closing and opening the GoGo App again.
If the issue persists you may have no data or be out of range of the nearest cell phone tower..
I can’t sign into my GoGo Account?
• Check that you are entering the correct cell phone number.
• Check that you are entering a valid One Time Pin (OTP)
• If your cell phone number and OTP are correct and the problem persists
• Try closing and opening the app again.
• If the issue persists you may have no data or be out of range of the nearest cell phone tower..
I lost access to my phone number?
When you receive a new sim card you will be able to register a new GoGo account to your new number.
